Ideally situated at the mouth of the Hastings River and the blue Pacific Ocean, Port Macquarie is a water lovers paradise and the Village Resort is a perfect base for families to explore this region. With bungalows that sleep up to 8 its super for large families, extended families or two families travelling together.
Located 4hrs north of Sydney, Port Macquarie has pristine beaches, most of them patrolled. Many beaches feature BBQ facilities and playgrounds. For the more adventurous, the Village Resort can arrange hinterland excursions, deep sea fishing, winery tours, restaurants, river cruises, camel rides and more.
The Village Resort has 32 Polynesian style bungalows, each accommodating 8 people. Self contained bungalow accommodation offers open plan living, spacious lounge/dining room fully equipped kitchen and adjacent laundry. There are 2 ground floor queen bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities. The staircase leads to a timber lined loft area incorporating a recreation area with television and 4 single bunk beds.
The Village Resort has a one hectare salt water lagoon for swimming, canoeing or feeding the fish. It also has its own island and a lovely sandy beach to relax on. We have an indoor heated swimming pool with spa and sauna.
The Clubhouse also caters for the younger ones with a designated under 18’s games room and under 5’s play area. The resort also has five barbecues situated around the resort, perfect for families.
Facilities include a Salt water lagoon, Spa & Sauna, 2 full sized tennis courts, Private beach, Club House and Indoor swimming pool.
