Club Med Kani in the Maldives is a tropical paradise. I was lucky enough to visit this gorgeous island resort. For years I had been seeing images of the Maldives and I must say on arrival it was one place that exceeded my expectations. The colour of the water is something I will never forget, its simply stunning.
To get to Club Med Kani you will fly into Male, the main airport for the Maldives. From there you will transfer by boat right outside the terminal exit direct to Club Med Kani.
From a distance, Kani emerges like a garden island, bathed in turquoise waters. This little paradise in the Maldives archipelago is exclusively reserved for Club Med resort guests.
Club Med Kani is one resort but two different accommodation levels are available, firstly the exclusive 5 trident space of the overwater suites on stilts. Young children are not able to stay in the overwater section but its perfect for couples, honeymooners, babymooners and more.
The majority of the resort is 4 trident standard and offers beautiful beachfront and garden rooms in the heart of the island. As the Maldives sit in the middle of the Indian Ocean, the bungalows are set between lush vegetation and a magnificent turquoise water and white sand beaches. There is a pool and bar beachside with comfy lounges and chairs.
This is a perfect resort for water lovers and those who just want to get away from it all and relax in a tropical paradise. Diving, snorkelling, swimming, sailing and kayaking are all very popular activities.
Like all Club Med Resorts this one is all inclusive so that means all your meals, snacks, drinks, cocktails, entertainment, gym classes and non motorised water activities are included.
There is no kids club as such as Club Med Kani however if children are staying at the resort as guests Club Med staff run activities and entertainment to suit kids.

Deluxe Room - Ground floor accommodation right by the beach, ideal for lovers. You'll appreciate the open-air bathroom and the sea view from your terrace.
Suites Espace 5 Tridents - To make your stay unique and unforgettable, treat yourself to this charming Suite with its private terrace from which you can dive straight into the sea, with a magnfiicent view over the lagoon. Access to the Suites via pontoons that form a circular shape as they jut out into the lagoon. Terrace with teak furniture and direct access to the sea.
